When the inclination of the straight edge of this head is stopped from being measured, the thickened part of the straight edge should not be taken into account. 3) After trimming, the roundness tolerance should be measured. Generally, it is the difference between the maximum and minimum values, and the numerical value should not exceed 25mm. A ruler or a tensioned steel wire should be placed at any two diameter positions on the end face of the head to measure the total depth. Generally, it should not exceed the specified value. 4) Use the gap template to check the shape tolerance of the inner and outer surfaces of the elliptical head. Pay attention that the template should be perpendicular to the surface to be measured during the inspection; otherwise, the result may be inaccurate. 5) Longitudinal wrinkles are not allowed on the straight edge of the elliptical head. 6) The minimum thickness of the common head should not be less than the negative deviation of the nominal thickness of the head minus the thickness of the steel plate. For all the splicing or welding parts of the elliptical heads, radiographic or ultrasonic testing should be carried out in accordance with certain methods. In addition, non-destructive testing can also be conducted on some parts, including the welding joints of the transition sections, which must not come loose or leak.
